Posting on Pinterest

In this edition of our helpful blog, we went to the fastest affiliate in the whole Wild West for advice. After crossing the desert, stepping over endless tumbleweeds and avoiding cacti, we finally found a tanned man in a comically large sombrero. Squinting towards the sunset, he spat tobacco and said, “There are two kinds of people, those who make money just by using 10 minutes of a day posting on Pinterest and those who dig.” We asked him to elaborate on the idea.
So the first thing you want to do is head over to pinterest.com and create an account. Just your name and a profile picture. Make sure you look fairly tanned and have a big hat, because people will actually decide whether to buy your products or not based on your profile.
Then you post content. Do what you can. For example, I draw treasure maps on canva.com where you can create content for free.
But before you start creating content you need to pick a product that you’re going to promote. For that let’s head over to offers. It’s free to sign up, then choose an offer you want to promote and grab your affiliate link. This is how Moonrover is going to track your sales.
So head over back to Pinterest. In the Pinterest search bar type something that’s related to a product that you’re promoting. Treasure maps, sombreros, ponchos, chewing tobacco, basically any good thing. Then pick something that’s most relevant to your product and go into the share button and then copy the link they head over back to Google and type in “Pinterest downloader” and hit the first link. Then paste the URL that you just copied, download PNG and save it to your desktop. Now let’s go back to Canva and drag the image right into the white part. Make everything nice so that the picture fits the whole screen and looks like a chest full of confederate’s gold.
Now go back to Pinterest, grab our awesome affiliate link treasure map and post. Make sure everyone who sees your picture and clicks on it goes directly to the product page when they can purchase your product and you can earn a commission.
It doesn’t sound difficult really. So choose who you are: those who make money just by using 10 minutes of a day posting on Pinterest or those who dig?
