In August, we continue to take inventory of cozy items. Today today as always – plaid.

Today we remember the legend in the world of blankets – Hudson’s Bay point blanket. They are traded by the Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC) in Canada and the United States from 1779 to present. Wool blankets were made into hooded coats called capotes by both natives and French Canadian voyageurs. And later they made Mackinaw jacket. Thus, blankets are also clothing.
