Our regular readers know that our office telescopes are always pointed at the Swan Nebula, but sometimes we make an exception and look at Earth. For example, to tell you about the best affiliate conferences on your planet.
It’s never easy to pull our resident astronomer away from observing the personal lives of stars in the Cygnus Nebula. Both mentally and physically. But while the telescope is ours, we’re pointing it at cities around the planet to find out where and when the top affiliate marketing conferences are taking place. Let’s start in chronological order, taking into account your Earth calendar.
When: May 29–31
Where: Sao Paulo, Brazil
Coordinates: 23.5475 south latitude and 46.6361 west longitude at 769 meters above sea level.
Saudade and carnivals, oddly enough, are not mentioned by the organizers. They promise more than 100 hours of in-depth content, practical workshops and effective networking. A promising Brazilian market, yet. No football, and we were unable to examine other national stereotypes through a telescope. Where: Limassol, Cyprus
Coordinates: 34.6841 north latitude and 33.0379 east longitude at an altitude of 26 meters above sea level.
You can’t see the Cypriot sunsets through a telescope, but you should definitely admire them. The organizers say that they are focused on high-conversion verticals: games, dating, finance and betting. We will believe them, but in reality we don’t know how you can concentrate on anything when the Mediterranean is all around and the heat hits your head harder than 45-degree Zivania. But if you know how to concentrate on what’s important, this is the place for you.
When: July 26-28
Where: Shanghai, China
Coordinates: 31.2222 north latitude and 121.458 east longitude at an altitude of 13 meters above sea level.
ChinaJoy, or as the Chinese themselves say – China Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference, is dedicated to digital entertainment. There is also a place for affiliate marketing, especially if you like Genshin, or girls dressed as the heroines of this game. Well, yes, there will probably be other useful meetings, for sure – right here.
When: September 24 – 26
Where: Lisbon, Portugal
Coordinates: 38.7167 north latitude and 9.13333 west longitude at an altitude of 37 meters above sea level.
Everything is serious here, they promise nothing less than “in-depth discussions on changes in legislation” and the presence of politicians. And then as usual: meetings, coworking, you know. On the one hand, not a word about jamon and sherry, on the other, it should be there by default. But it is better, of course, to check for yourself.
When: November 7-8
Where: Gurgaon, India
Coordinates: 28.4601 north latitude and 77.0264 east longitude at an altitude of 227 meters above sea level.
We can see from the moon with a telescope how fast affiliate marketing is growing in India. It’s going to be very, very hot. Hot as a spoonful of the hottest curry. Well, we couldn’t help but make a stereotypical joke, you know. In general, it will be everything you expect from an affiliate conference and more.

Where: Bangkok, Thailand

End of the year, summing up and new acquaintances. The organizers say that they strive to “be ahead of industry trends”, we readily believe.
