In August we talk about comets. Today is Ikeya–Seki Comet.

 

Comet Ikeya-Seki was visible from Earth in 1965. Astronomers say it was one of the brightest comets of the millennium. 60 times brighter than the full moon. Try to imagine a bright full moon, and then mentally increase the brightness by 60 times. Not difficult at all?
