Yes, we are not mistaken. Friedrich Nietzsche was not only a German philosopher, he was also a German composer. He learned to play the piano at the age of 6, and began composing at the age of 10. We will not list his musical works, but we will note that one of them was criticized by the German composer Wagner, and the other by the German composer Hans von Bülow.
