In August we talk about the most boring people in the history of mankind – German composers. Today we will talk about Princess Amalie of Saxony.
Princess Amalia, or as she was called in full Amalie Marie Friederike Auguste or as she called herself Amalia Sirena, wrote prose and music. As you might have understood, in Germany, everyone used to write music and were considered composers, no matter what your profession, origin or even gender were. All these people have three things in common: they were all Germans, composers and the most boring people on earth. It’s good that this August column has finally come to an end. It was boring.
