Mars Odyssey is an active NASA orbiter exploring Mars. Its primary mission is to study the planet’s geology and search for minerals. The spacecraft was launched on April 7, 2001. As of March 2025, it is still collecting data and is estimated to have sufficient propellant to function until the end of 2025.
