In January we talk about legendary furniture. Today – The Writer.
“The Writer” is a work by Italian sculptor Giancarlo Neri. It consists of a nine-meter-tall table and chair, crafted from steel covered in wood. The artist himself describes the piece as a tribute to writer’s block. It’s not the largest chair in the world; the largest stands in Alabama and is 10 meters tall.
