In February we talk about clouds. Today – Polar stratospheric clouds.


Polar stratospheric clouds are also called nacreous clouds because, imagine, they’re pearlescent. These clouds can be seen in polar latitudes at abnormally low temperatures below -78°C. Their formation requires a number of conditions, making them a relatively rare phenomenon.
