In March we talk about local winds. Today – Košava.
The Košava is a dry and dusty wind blowing from the Carpathian Mountains into the Middle and Lower Danube basin, in Serbia, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria. It typically blows from October to March and is accompanied by strong snowstorms or, in the absence of snow, dust storms. Wind speeds reach 20-30 m/s.
