In starry August we study meteor showers. Today – Pegasids.  

Not all meteor showers are equally impressive. Most of them, such as the Pegasids, reach only three meteors per hour. It’s easy to miss if you blink or decide to stretch your neck. So if you suddenly accidentally notice a falling star, check your astronomical calendar, there is a high probability that you saw not just an individual meteor, but a whole stream!
