As you know, our office is located on the moon, and the moon is famous for its craters. There are more than 1.3 million craters here, and we don’t think we’ll have time to tell you about them all in October. We’ll tell you only about the most outstanding ones.

Today we will tell you about the crater Tycho. Its diameter is 85 km, but the impact light rays diverging from the crater are clearly visible even to the naked eye from Earth. The name of the crater was approved in the 19th century, but before that it was called by many names, for example, “The Navel of the Moon”.
