What to do with your organic traffic drop?

5 Min Read

Last week we delved into dark theories about the reasons for the traffic drop, and learned a lot about the sinister forces that control the Internet. Now it’s time to decide what to do about it, and for answers we turned to a specialist of a completely different kind. A real affiliate guru who has realized that everything around us is nothing more than the clap of one hand will share his enlightened knowledge with us.

In a shady garden, where it is neither cold nor hot, where the sound of water is neither loud nor quiet, on the grass, as you guessed, not quite soft, but not hard either, our affiliate marketing guru was waiting. Not the kind of guru who puts gel in his hair and speaks at conferences with unhealthy enthusiasm, but a real guru, with a bald head and a saffron sari.

“I want to make it clear right away that the clap of one hand and the click of one finger are two different things. I see anxiety in you, uncertainty, you are scared, so to speak, because your organic traffic is falling and you don’t know why. Oh, you are not alone in your condition. The nature of the affiliate world is changeable, sometimes it can really be cruel, but with the proper training of your body and mind, you can overcome yourself.”

“The first thing to learn is balance. Not the one where you stand on one leg in a prayer pose, although that is also useful. I’m talking about balance in the content of your affiliate site. Too many reviews – imbalance, too many articles of different topics – imbalance. What we need is balance. Let me remind you. Concentrate on one niche, make the content more informative, breathe deeply. It’s easy to say, but not easy to do. Be patient, like a stream that wears away a stone, and be a stone in the stream. Carefully monitor the statistics, if you did everything right, your traffic is restored, the tension goes away.”

“So you think you’ve reached information balance, but your traffic is still dropping. Don’t panic, just be yourself. I mean literally be yourself, not stolen content from the internet. Let the photos on your site be your photos, and the words be your words. The more original the content, the higher it will rank in search. You will gain more trust, your breathing will even out, and your organic traffic will start to grow.”

“If your traffic is still dropping, don’t worry. Have you been taking a deep breath? It means it’s time to let go of the past. Not the memory of that girl refusing to dance with you, while that wouldn’t hurt, we’re talking about unnecessary content right now. If you have content on your affiliate site that doesn’t really relate to the products you’re selling, well, you know what to do with it. Delete it, and scatter its ashes in the digital river of time. It’s simple.”

“Let’s sum it up. You’ve found a balance, and your site tells what is needed and how it is needed. It doesn’t have too many comparison articles, not too many keywords with high queries, but no one will say that there are too many of them. Your affiliate site is balanced. You’ve found yourself, and you’ve become yourself. No one will ever find someone else’s, or, horror of horrors, AI-generated texts on your site. Only original content, like a snowflake, unlike any other snowflake. You’ve sent away the past in the form of irrelevant articles and other outdated junk. Only fresh, well, maybe slightly updated content, like a spring morning from a washing powder ad.”

“Once this happens, you’ll never come back and ask me questions again. You’ll have no questions left. And the next time your organic traffic starts to drop, you’ll just take a deep breath, exhale, and try to figure out what the hell is going on again.”
