Ittoqqortoormiit is a town in eastern Greenland and one of the most inaccessible towns on earth. It can only be reached by plane, then by helicopter or boat for several months of the year. The town’s population, as of 2013, was 452. The Inuit name Ittoqqortoormiit means “Big House.”
