4. Tree of Hippocrates
Tree of Hippocrates is a plane tree under which the father of medicine passed on his knowledge to his students. The one that grows in the square of its name on the island of Kos is a descendant of that same plane tree. It is about 500 years old. But the point is that cuttings and seeds of this plane tree were distributed around the world as gifts to medical universities.
