The Hoh Rain Forest is a rainforest in the United States considered to be the “quietest place in the United States.” A monument known as “One Square Inch of Silence” has been placed here; in essence, it is simply a small red stone. The forest is exceptionally quiet because the mosses absorb sound.
On the other hand, this national park attracts around 500,000 tourists a year. Well, it seems there are quieter places out there after all.
